About CISO Tribune

CISO Tribune is an independent publication about the people who run enterprise security. We do three things: interview chief information security officers on the record, maintain The Wire — a verified record of CISO appointments and departures — and publish analysis of the security leadership market for the people in it.

Who reads us

Sitting CISOs and deputy CISOs, security leaders one step from the seat, the boards and executives who hire them, the recruiters who place them, and the vendors who sell to them. We write for practitioners: specific, sourced, and short enough to read between meetings.

How The Wire is verified

An entry appears on The Wire only when it can be confirmed against a primary source: a company announcement, a regulatory filing, a direct statement from the person or company, or the person's own public confirmation. Every entry carries its source, announcement date, and effective date. Entries marked Sample are format demonstrations with fictional people and companies; they are excluded from search indexing and feeds.

Editorial standards

Interviews are conducted on the record and lightly edited for clarity. Interview subjects do not pay to appear, coverage is not for sale, and we do not accept paid placements on The Wire. Analysis is opinionated but sourced: where we state a fact about a regulation, a filing, or a person, we cite where it comes from. Where we offer judgment, we say so.

How we produce our work

CISO Tribune uses AI tools in research, drafting, and production. Everything published passes human editorial review, and the standards above — primary sources for facts about real people and companies, on-the-record interviews, visible corrections — apply regardless of how a draft was produced. Nothing on The Wire is generated without a verifiable source behind it.

Corrections

If something we published is wrong, we correct it and note the correction on the entry. Write to editor@cisotribune.example with the link and the primary source for the correction.
