Terms of Service
Last updated: July 22, 2026
These terms govern your use of CISO Tribune (the "Site"), operated by CISO Tribune ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. The service
The Site is a publication: articles, interviews, and a record of security-leadership appointments. It is provided for general information. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
2. Not professional advice
Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, security, or other professional advice. Content about regulations, liability, contracts, or security practice is general commentary. Decisions about your organization's obligations or security program should be made with qualified counsel and advisers who know your facts.
3. Intellectual property
The Site's content, design, and marks are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may read, link to, and quote our work with attribution and a link. You may not republish articles in full, scrape the Site to build a competing database, or use our marks, without prior written permission. Quotation for criticism, comment, and news reporting consistent with fair use is welcome.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with the Site's operation, attempt unauthorized access, impose unreasonable load, or use the Site to violate law or the rights of others.
5. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sources, including primary sources for Wire entries. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites.
6. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work to keep The Wire accurate and correct errors when notified, but we do not warrant that any content is error-free or current.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use after changes means you accept them.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — set before launch], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
